Wednesday August 27th at 8PM -- Gonna Need a Montage!   [add comment]
Bear with me here, I've never used the YouTubes before. They tell me that a montage will be available before too long with the magical fragment of HTML that I've pasted below. But first, some preamble.

We've renamed our new dog to Tophee Non-Sequitur Tasmania. "Tophee" goes along with our food-names theme, and spelling it with a ph goes along with my misspelling-things theme. We call her Toph for short. "Non-Sequitur" is latin for 'it does not follow' which I thought would be a good middle name for a dog. I hyphenated it because I'm OCD about hyphens. "Tasmania" came about to follow the country-or-region-name theme, and also because Toph looks a bit like a Tasmanian Devil. But here's the deal. Toph and Tosca figured out how they were going to play (and by play I mean battle) almost immediately, and they play when they aren't sleeping or eating. It's behavior worthy of a montage.

Where does the time go?
I feel like I've been going full-tilt for several weeks now what with the running, side-project programming, hops harvesting, new dog training, house maintaining, cooking - that is, the usual suspects. And Jody's been going full-tilt what with the cabin-planning, scrapbook binging, gardening, house projecting, etc. But what this all means is that I continually put off creating this totally awesome battle montage of Tosca vs. New Dog. It's nom-tacular!
